What we can do for you  

We offer advice and planning services for all kinds of alterations and extensions to private homes, including loft conversions, side and rear extensions, garages etc.

Our initial meeting and consultation with you is free of charge.

We liaise with the Local Authority on your behalf at all stages of the planning process. Whatever you need from preliminary feedback from the Council planning department to full planning permission or permitted development / lawful development certificates through to building regulations approvals, PLK Design will prepare the necessary drawings and specifications for you.

We carry out measured surveys and produce as built drawings.

All of our drawing work is computer based - prepared on CAD.

We will work to your timetable in so far as possible and always with a sense of urgency.

We specialise in obtaining planning approval in conservation areas.

We will keep in touch with you frequently and keep you informed at all stages of the process.

Production of detailed technical drawings and specifications as required for building regulations approval and for use in procuring a building contractor.

Advice and guidance to the client and builder on construction detailing.

Procurement and management of structural engineering services as required.

Health & safety co-ordination in the design process. We offer advice & guidance to our clients and their contractors to help ensure safe construction.

Corporate Clients
For our corporate clients we offer CAD space planning and design services for real estate management and occupancy planning.

Commercial real estate space audits for corporate clients, including identification of vacant and under-utilised office space and design of office re-stack projects.
